Lindsay McClain Opiyo

Lindsay McClain Opiyo is a graduate student at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA, concentrating in conflict analysis and transformation. In 2013, Lindsay became the coordinator for the Everyday Peace Indicators Project, a joint research project between the Kroc Institute, the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) in South Africa, and the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. She also is the Principal Investigator of a one-year joint study with MfP on music and conflict transformation in the Acholi sub-region of northern Uganda. Lindsay is the former head of communications at the Justice and Reconciliation Project (JRP), a victim-centered transitional justice organization in Gulu, northern Uganda.
